There's an attached hood with draw-cord closure and, in front, a full-length front-zipper with exterior storm flap and snap closure plus interior storm flap. Pockets? There are six altogether. Two inside pockets with hoop-and-loop closures plus two chest pockets with flap closures plus two lower-front pockets with zipper closures and storm flaps.
