Best Rain Gear I have Ever Had September 10, 2013
Reviewer: highgear365 from Portland, OR
"I work all over the Pacific Northwest, and I purchased my pair of these rain pants 2 or 3 years ago. Now I can't speak for this new generation of waterproof breathable pant, but the pair I have has been put through rigorous 10+ hour beatings in the woods, rain, snow, and sometimes shine, and I have never been wet once other than a little ring around the boot line which can be solved with a gaiter. The rain gear does get a little heavier when wet, but thats a given for any wet material. As for windproof, I can attest that at 70 mph in the rain, you don't feel a thing. My only gripe with these pants is the elastic waist band. Carhartt, if you aren't going to make a bib version of these please put belt loops on the pants. Regretfully, I will have to get a new pair for the seams finally ripped on the inside at the knee on both legs. In the end it was money well spent."
